Just heard an interesting statistic. According to GlobalTV - reporting on a shooting in a club, of course - Toronto has about 200 downtown clubs in the entertainment district (south of Queen, East of Spadina - i.e. all the hip bars along Richmond and Adelaide). On a Friday night, when those bards let out, they can be filled with 60,000 people. Yes, that's sixty THOUSAND - including an unknown number of sober people.
God, I love living in a big city.
